March 27
22 players entered for Sunday’s Mixed Stableford competition, including two visitors from Bribie Island GC.
The winner was Ally Russell with 39 points from Scott Lombe on 38. Rundowns went to Jason Verhees 37 and Mike Freeman 36.
March 29
The last round of Tuesday Twilight had nine players and was won by Huey Rosalia with 18 points on a countback from Deb Sykes.
March 30
Wednesday’s Mid-Week competition saw 72 men hit off, including two visitors, from Torquay and Cairns Golf Clubs. The day was sponsored by the Grand Tasman Hotel and The Printing Press.
The A Grade winner was Rick Kolega with 42 Stableford points and the score of the day, from Adam Hage on 37. Graham Tiller won B Grade with 36 from Tom Dawson on 35, and Colin Clark 37 won C Grade from Dave Bellchambers on 36. Rundowns went to Taylor Ford, Mick Hegarty and Mark Rowett on 36 and Tim Robinson, Mark Cooper and Maurie Barry on 35.
NTP winners were Jordon Hind, who eagled the first hole, Rick Kolega (twice), Trent Bradford, Scott Lombe and George Smith.
Par-three birdies were scored by Rick Kolega (twice), Taylor Ford, Rex Bichard and Scott Lombe.
March 31
Thursday’s Ladies’ competition was also a Stableford event, won by Lorraine McDonald 39 from Heather Darley 36, with rundowns going to Val Sharrad 34, Jacqui McNamara and Michelle Smith, both with 33 points.
April 2
Saturday’s Stableford competition, sponsored by SA Plumbing Supplies, had 98 entries.
In the Men’s Divisions, Grant Bamber counted out Warren Rosman to win A Grade, both with 38 points. Visitor Paul Southwell won B Grade, also on a countback, with 39 points; John Strycharski was runner-up.
The score of the day came in C Grade, where Rohan Montgomerie scored 43 points to win from Josh Humphries.
Rundowns went to Jamie Puddy and Andrew Tiller on 36, and Greg Cotton, Jacob Harvey, Codey Marchesi, Lindsay Gordon and Graham Tiller all scored 35 points.
Sixteen Ladies played and the winner was Val Sharrad with 37 points from Cynthia Thompson on 35.
NTP Winners were Paul Southwell, Ash Durdin, Haydn Myers (twice) and Grant Woods, with par-three birdies scored by Haydn Myers, Andrew Fraser, Grant Woods, Tony Dragun and Cymthia Thompson.
The Presentations for the Ladies’ Summer Events were held this week.
The Bev Tee Memorial, donated by Heather’s Curtains, was won by Diana Laube.
The Best Nett Saturday winner was Jo Higgins, donated by Lincoln Lingerie.
The Summer Eclectic winners were Heather Darley (Thursday) and Cynthia Thompson (Saturday)
Points Winners were Cynthia Thompson (Thursdays) and Val Sharrad (Saturdays).
Val Sharrad also won the Putting Competition and Elaine Pierik won the Alys Chilman Memorial.
Carolyn Cocks won the Mortlock Clinic Most Consistent Award.

The Port Lincoln Open Championships will be held this coming week on Saturday 9th April.
