Breakthrough win for ex-local golfer Jack Thompson
Jack has posted his first win as a professional golfer in last week’s Gippsland title at Warragul Golf Club in Victoria. After losing a playoff as an amateur in the Queensland PGA championship in 2020, he has spent time honing his game in the United States and recorded a top ten finish (equal 7th) last weekend in the Victorian PGA title. No comes the win he would have been looking for.
