Every now and again, a golfer has a round which causes everybody in the clubhouse to sit up and pay attention. Bailey Fraser had that round in Wednesday’s Stableford competition presented by West Coast Distilling. Given his score of 49 points in the C grade, it is clear that the B graders should be worried going forward. Second place was Colin Clark who was 15 shots behind with 34 points to his tally. A Grade was taken out by Rick Kolega with 37 points, one shot clear of Warren Rosman. B Grade was settled on countback with Gary Curtis just edging out Kade Dufak, both men scoring 40 points.

West Coast Distilling also presented the Ladies Par competition on Thursday with Kay Freeth walking away victorious with a score of -1, Diane Laube just missing out with -2.

Saturday’s Stroke round was sponsored by the Beach Bakery with A Grade being taken out by Clinton Scharfe with a Nett of 70 beating Ben Abley on a countback. B Grade saw Kade Dufak come out on top with a Nett score of 67, Kym Hosking close behind with 69. Brenton George took honours in C Grade with a Nett if 71, Nathan Miller coming in second with 75.

Ladies Saturday Stroke competition was taken out by Kay Freeth on a countback, both she and Michelle Smith having scored a Nett of 69.
