The Port Lincoln Open is only two weeks away so momentum is key. With the Grand Tasman Hotel sponsoring the entire weeks competition, Warren Rosman is putting himself in prime position after having scored 42 points on Saturday’s A Grade stableford competition. Haydn Myers came runner up with a hearty 39 points. B Grade was taken out by Tony Dragun who scored 39 points, two shots ahead of his nearest rival in Peter Kenny. Geoff Cocker was the winner of C Grade with a solid 40 points, Paul Southwell only just missing out by a single shot.

Saturday’s ladies competition saw Helen George walk away victorious in emphatic fashion, 40 points beating her nearest competitor in Joanne Higgins by four shots.

Thursday’s ladies stableford competition saw much the same as Saturday with Helen George having scored another 40 point round. This time Jennifer McDonald found herself in second position with 37 points.

Wednesday’s stableford competition saw A Grade taken out by Clinton Scharfe having scored 36 points, Warren Rosman right behind him with 35 points. Bill Healey took out B Grade with 39 points, Mark Cooper his closest challenge with 34 points. The score of the day went to Derek Williams who shot a hard fought 41 points, Haydon Manning securing runner up with 37 points.
