August 13

A Par round was played on  Saturday, sponsored by Leader Distributors, with 62 Men and ten Women  competing.

In the Men’s divisions, Jack Humphries on plus 2 won from Andrew Tiller in A Grade. The sponsor Dave Graetz finished square to win B Grade from Tim Pobke on -1. James Fuss on -1 counted out Cliff Taylor to win C Grade.

Rundowns went to Chris Baird, Warren Rosman and Daryl Evans square, with Adam Sullivan and Andrew Puglisi on -1.

The Ladies’ competition was won by Heather Darley -3 from Lyn Hosking -4.

NTP Winners were Haydn Myers, Chris Baird, Jack Humphries, Ben Sellen, Adam Sullivan and Kane Williams, with par-three birdies won by Jack Humphries, Andrew Tiller and Barry Tattersall.

August 11

Those who attended Thursday’s Women’s golf had an earlier coffee break, with the course under water on several greens and horizontal sleet greeting them. Wisely, the protection of the course was paramount.

August 10

Only 48 Men played in Wednesday’s competition,  sponsored by Bradford Constructions.

The A Grade winner was Scott Lombe with 35 Stableford points on a  countback from Codey Marchesi. Dave Batterbury had the score of the day to win B Grade with 37 from George Mayhew 34. Leon Newman won C Grade with 35 points from Cliff Taylor on 32.

Rundowns went to Mick Hegarty, who eagled the 14th hole, with 35 points, from Warren Rosman, Graeme Charlton and Mark Rowett on 32.

NTP Winners were Ben Abley (twice), Ben Sellen, Dave Batterbury, Scott Lombe and Gavin Cheriton.

Only three par-three birdies were scored,  from Ben Sellen, Gavin Cheriton and Ben Abley.

Aug 7

Sunday’s Mixed Stableford competition had 13 players, with Daniel Brown winning on a countback from Josh Hausler, both on 37 points. The daily sponsors were Lower Eyre Physio.
